About Etyeki Piknik
The Etyeki Piknik is a unique gastronomic and cultural experience set in the picturesque wine region of Etyek. It’s a place where wine, local flavors, live music, and nature come together.
Along the Gastro Promenade, local wineries and food vendors offer special programs, wine tastings, and regional delicacies—while starting in 2025, a music stage will bring a variety of live performances to enhance the atmosphere.
The Etyeki Piknik is one of the region’s most outstanding events, where families, friends, and food & wine lovers alike can enjoy unforgettable moments.

Is this year’s Etyeki Piknik a paid event?
Yes, this year’s Etyeki Piknik will be a ticketed event. The decision was made to raise the event’s quality due to increased interest and to create more comfortable, enjoyable conditions with many more experiences for visitors.
Over the past few years, the Etyeki Piknik has gained tremendous popularity, which is fantastic for us but has also brought new challenges.
Revenue from ticket sales enables organized parking, improved hygiene infrastructure, the realization of stage programs, and the introduction of environmentally conscious solutions. This ensures that the Etyeki Piknik experience is memorable and special for everyone.

Entry to the event and services are only possible with a valid, undamaged wristband purchased at the entrance!
If the event requires a ticket, will the promenade be closed off?
Yes, during the event, the promenade will be closed off from all directions. We will set up multiple entry and on-site ticket purchase points to ensure smooth access. However, we recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to avoid waiting in line and to enjoy the special programs of the Etyeki Piknik even faster!

Can tickets be purchased on-site?
Tickets will also be available for purchase on-site; however, we cannot guarantee that all ticket types will be available. We recommend buying your tickets in advance to secure your spot and avoid waiting in line.
Can I get a refund if I don’t need my ticket?

Purchased tickets are non-refundable.
VII. Right of Withdrawal and Termination
The purchase can be cancelled at any time without consequences before clicking the “Pay” button.
According to Section 29, Paragraph (1) l) of Government Decree 45/2014 (II.26.), the Buyer does not have the right of withdrawal or termination if the ticket is for an event at a specific date (specific day or deadline). In this case, the Service Provider is unable to refund the ticket or the purchase price (except in the case of event cancellation).
Can I bring my own food and drinks to the event?
Bringing alcoholic beverages onto the event grounds is not permitted, but don’t worry—there will be plenty of excellent wineries and drink stands at the Piknik for you to discover the best local flavors!
Bringing your own food and soft drinks is allowed, but not in commercial quantities. Of course, guests with food allergies and families with young children are permitted to bring necessary food items.
Our goal is to ensure everyone has a great time while enjoying the diverse gastronomic offerings!
Do very young children also need a ticket to enter?
Ages 0–3 enter free of charge. A child ticket is required for ages 4–14.
Will there be other programs at the wineries besides the main stage?
Yes, alongside the main stage performers, each winery offers its own unique programs for visitors. The venues feature musical, artistic, and gastronomic experiences, allowing you to enjoy personalized moments. It’s worth exploring all the locations, as every winery provides a special atmosphere and content throughout the event!
Where can I park?
For this year’s Etyeki Piknik, we have organized designated parking areas to avoid the parking difficulties experienced in previous years. Parking will be available on the open field below Rókusfalvy Estate, towards Botpuszta. This location is easily accessible and helps prevent congestion in the village center.
An electric shuttle bus will run from the parking area to the Piknik venues along the access road, allowing you to reach the event center quickly and comfortably. Staff will also be on-site to assist with parking and guide arriving guests smoothly. For more details, please keep an eye on the event’s official website and social media channels!
Is the event pet-friendly?
Do people with disabilities need to purchase a ticket?
Do I need to purchase a Piknik glass?
To enjoy drinks at the wineries and bars, having a Piknik glass is not required; however, wine and sparkling wine can only be served in the official glass. If you have a Piknik glass from previous events, feel free to bring it along.

On October 4, at Hello Buda you can already get a taste of the Etyek Picnic atmosphere in advance! For one day, we’re bringing you the very best of the wine region – top Etyek wineries and cellars, unique gastronomic experiences, and exciting programs.

In addition, Hello Buda’s usual selection will also be waiting for visitors: the legendary schnitzels of Buja Disznó(k), BBQ and street food specialties from Cafat, fresh pastries and specialty coffee from VAJ Bakery, authentic Thai dishes from Tom Yum, and true Neapolitan pizzas from Salve. The cozy spaces and premium venues of Hello Buda provide the perfect backdrop to the Etyek Moves to Buda for a Day event!

Parking
For those arriving by car or motorcycle: coordinated parking is available on the Botpuszta side of Etyek.

Please follow the signage and look for the parking lot on Boti Road, which is located very close to the main entrance (Entrance No. 1).

A free electric shuttle bus runs between the farthest point of the parking lot and the main entrance of the event (about 500–600 meters), assisting pedestrian access.
Expect heavy traffic from the Biatorbágy direction. Therefore, we recommend visitors coming from Budapest approach the town via Herceghalom.
During the event, vehicle access to Újhegyi Road, i.e., the Gastro Promenade, is prohibited.
Entrance
Entry to the event area is only permitted with a valid ticket.
There will be three entry points at the venue: the main entrance next to the parking lot (Boti Road), Boti Alley under Sonkamester, and the end of the Gastro Promenade near the bus turnaround.
To reduce waiting times, we provide guidance on how to enter the Piknik as quickly as possible.
ADVANCE TICKET EXCHANGE
If you have an advance ticket or a redeemed wristband, simply go to the advance ticket exchange point/gate, where our staff will verify your eligibility (valid ticket, student ID, Etyek address card, etc.).
ON-SITE TICKET BOOTH
If you don’t have an advance ticket, you can purchase one on-site. Please first visit the ticket booth/information desk, then proceed to the advance ticket exchange point/gate, where our staff will verify your eligibility (valid ticket, student ID, Etyek address card, etc.).

Piknik glass
Tasting glasses will be available for purchase at participating wineries and INFO points during the Etyeki Piknik, at a price of HUF 2,000 (incl. VAT).
The tasting glass is non-refundable and not mandatory for consumption. However, wineries will only serve wine and sparkling wine in a stemmed glass.
If you have a glass from a previous year, feel free to bring it with you.

We, the organizers, will also be taking photos and videos for documentation purposes. These may be published on our own communication platforms (www.etyekipiknik.hu, www.facebook.com/etyekipiknik, instagram.com/etyeki_piknik) and may occasionally be used in press materials.
